  • API Usage Data: We log API requests, including IP addresses, to monitor service performance, ensure security, and prevent abuse. We do not link this data to individuals.

  • Customer Data: Any data uploaded to our platform remains under your control. We do not access, analyze, or use your data beyond processing your API requests.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the API usage information we collect solely to improve the security and reliability of our platform. Any other collected information is used solely to

  • Provide and maintain our services, or to

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use any customer data for advertising, data mining, or AI training.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

  • Access Controls: We use strict authentication measures to ensure that only authorized users can access your data.

  • Minimal Data Retention: You can delete your data at any time, and we permanently remove all associated records unless legally required to retain them.

  • Termination: Upon account termination, all your data, including backups, will be permanently and securely deleted within 30 days, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and encrypted data storage. AWS provides the underlying infrastructure but does not access or process customer data beyond standard infrastructure operations.

Additionally, we offer an optional feature enhancement powered by OpenAI. If enabled, this feature allows short excerpts of customer data to be sent to OpenAI for summarization. This process is fully encrypted in transit and at rest, and OpenAI does not store or retain any customer data.

Customers can opt out of OpenAI-powered features at any time. We do not share customer data with any other third parties. For more details, refer to our Vendor & Subprocessor Disclosure.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access and review your stored data.

  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.

  • Disable optional features that involve third-party services.

7. Changes to This Policy, Conflicts & Precedence

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. If the changes are significant, we will notify users via email.

If you have entered into a separate API License Agreement with Sturdy Statistics, the terms of that agreement govern in the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the License Agreement. This Privacy Policy does not modify, amend, or override the terms of any signed agreement.
